Oh my goodness!!! I had missed these, thank you so, so, so much for alerting me to them! I may have made small wibbling noises.
I was always fairly certain that Mycroft had to wear braces rather than a belt (it’s something of a faux pas to wear a waistcoat with a belt) but it’s wonderful to have this confirmed! And I love those braces.
